More about me…
I’m a local girl from Moreton-in-Marsh, just ten minutes down the road from the Old Stocks Inn. I love living and working here in the Cotswolds, it’s a beautiful place to be and I get to meet so many different people through my role at the Inn.
What my role involves…
As events coordinator, I help organise and plan weddings, parties and other large functions here at the Inn.
We cater for all sorts of events but they each have one thing in common - the Old Stocks’ personal touch - and I love chatting to our customers during the planning stages to capture their ideas and bring them to life however we can.
Because of this, you’ll never see me hidden away in an office . To me, it’s all about being out on the floor, meeting people and helping around the Inn.
What I love most about the Old Stocks…
The charm of the building is just amazing. I love that even after the refurbishment, the building still has its original features such as the wooden beams and the Cotswold stone.
I love that it’s been given a new lease of life in recent years and there’s nothing better than seeing and hearing our customers’ reactions when they arrive at the Inn, they’re always impressed!
Why I’m part of the troupe…
I’m part of the troupe because I love the family feel. We genuinely are a big family and we all get on so well. Everyone is different, but that’s why we work so well together. I have learnt so much, especially from Amanda and Charlotte who have helped me progress my career with the events and admin side of the business.
