Refurbishment
The Old Stocks is now closed for refurbishment and will be reopening in early 2015. Although we’ve really enjoyed our time so far in this beautiful 17th century building, we think it’s now the right time to give it a little bit of love and care.
The times are certainly changing, and so is our name (if only slightly), from The Old Stocks Hotel to The Old Stocks Inn. It may seem like a small change, but it means a lot to us. An inn is not only a great place for weary travellers to rest their heads, but it’s the perfect place to get a bite to eat, to catch up with a drink in a cosy bar, and it’s at the heart of the town – just like we are!
We’re really excited about what’s to come, and we look forward to sharing our story with you. Our management team, Charlotte and Richard, will be keeping you up to date throughout our refurbishment, so keep watching this space to find out more.
