Our very own general manager, Charlotte Tuck, has been named as a finalist at the 2019 British Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame Awards, set to be held on the 29 April 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane, London.

Presented by Travelweekly and The Caterer, the awards recognise outstanding individuals who have ‘disrupted and shaped the market’ and celebrate the highest achievers in the travel, hospitality, tourism and leisure sectors.

Jim Cockell, owner of The Old Stocks Inn, said: “We’re over the moon that Charlotte’s been shortlisted for this national award – it’s very well deserved and great recognition of her dedication and hard work here at The Old Stocks.”

Charlotte, who lives in Stow-on-the-Wold, has managed the hotel since its major refurbishment in 2015, overseeing its growth into one of the UK’s most popular boutique hotels and the subsequent expansion into the luxury holiday cottage market in 2018, with the opening of Parson’s Barn: The Old Stocks Bolthole, in Stow.

Charlotte, said: “I am immensely proud to be amongst the finalists for Young Hospitality Manager of the Year. It has been a process of hard work and dedication for the last 5 years to make The Old Stocks Inn all that we know and love today and it feels wonderful being recognised by our industry peers.”

In 2018, The Old Stocks Inn was named one of the UK’s top 10 hospitality employers in The Caterer Magazine’s ‘Best Places to Work in Hospitality’ shortlist.
