Cotswold Gold

If you’re lucky enough to visit the Cotswolds in the summer, you’ll see endless beautiful yellow fields of rapeseed. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s for, you need to sample Cotswold Gold.

Cotswold Gold is a premium extra virgin rapeseed oil, which has been produced at Charlie Beldam’s family farm in Broadway, Worcestershire since 2010. All of Cotswold Gold’s oil is grown, harvested, pressed and bottled right here in the Cotswolds.

The oil is naturally high in vitamin E, rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 and low in cholesterol. It can be used to replace butter or oil in all of your recipes and gives fried and roasted foods a crispy finish, while keeping its light, nutty flavour.

Cotswold Gold is currently used in 19 Michelin star restaurants. Want to try it for yourself? It’s on sale at Cotswold Food Store, just down the road in Longborough.
