The Old Stocks Inn opened in March 2015 after under-going a major refurbishment to transform the hotel into a luxury 5-star gold boutique Inn. Since then, The Old Stocks Inn has continued to wow and amaze its guests with our team’s unique, personalised guest care approach and commitment to making each guest’s experience tailor made and extra special.

The Old Stocks Inn culture and ethos is very simple. We have four key principals, which are at the heart of our business, which influence everything from our design, to our food & drink, to our people. They are:
We employ personality as well as skill to ensure that our Troupe is made up of individuals who complement each other. Individuals who excite, innovate and evoke playful authenticity with their own style, interpretation and flair for service, hospitality and customer service. We’d never expect anyone to be a cookie cutter version of anyone else.
We invest in our team with regular training, reward and recognition, social calendar events, perks and progression.
All our team are committed to trailblazing, and are proud to give guests the ‘Warmest Welcome in Gloucestershire’, demonstrating knowledge and enthusiasm about our local area, our produce and products and the many great things there are to do, see, eat, drink and experience whilst in The Cotswolds, to enhance our guests’ stays.
We offer great work: life balance with Troupe salaried contracts from 42 hours per week, with paid overtime.
Meals on duty – from yummy a la carte breakfast to a family meal at 5pm for all team members, prepared by our fantastic kitchen team. Our Troupe never go hungry.
Service Charge & Tips – are paid to all our Troupe members from Housekeeping to Front of House. We are after all - one team, one dream.
30 days holiday per year (salaried contracts.) That’s 28 days + your birthday + 1 special day of your choosing.
Premium Hot Drinks – we’re not stingy with the coffee, tea and hot chocolate our Troupe can have. Everyone deserves great coffee and it gives us a great opportunity to practice that latte art!
Christmas Day Off – we’re a family owned business, so we appreciate how important it is for our Troupe to be at home with their families on this special day. Unique in the hotel industry!
We keep our team rested, engaged, well fed and watered! Hurrah!
