Say hello to Cheltenham’s Sibling Distillery, a true gem for gin drinkers.

Tell us about your business and what food and drink lovers can experience when visiting.

We are a gin distillery and brewery run by the four Elliott-Berry siblings. We create a range of craft gins and are one of the few places in the UK that distill gin entirely from scratch, making for a genuinely small batch, handcrafted gin. Although we're a young team, we have been producing gins for more than 6 years and would love to talk you through our range in our shop at the distillery; we are always happy to let you sample any gins that catch your eye too!

Where are you based and what’s the best thing about being situated where you are and the local area?

We are based on Coxhorne Farm on the edge of Cheltenham. Our converted barn is surrounded by beautiful Cotswold hills, streams and lakes, giving us the perfect environment for creating world class gins. We share our site with our family brewery, which our parents have been running for 15 years. This year we bought a share of the business from them and are now putting our influence into the brewing too!

What makes you unique and what is the company known for?

We are one of the few distilleries in the UK who make gin entirely from scratch. No shortcuts, no compromises and no neutral spirits. All of our flavours and colours are entirely natural and the products speak for themselves because of this. We have been known for innovation in the gin world and being at the forefront of the gin revolution for over six years.

What are your bestselling food and/or drink choices?

We have a range of six gins that are permanently available. These include our Original Gin (which won three stars at the Great Taste Awards), our most innovative, best selling product which is our Negroni Inspired Gin and the four seasonal editions, Spring which is Lemon and Rosemary, Summer which is Strawberry and Black Pepper, Autumn which is Apple, Blackberry and Cardamom and Winter which is Cranberry and Clementine. Drop into the shop to try them for yourself!

What makes the Cotswolds such a phenomenal region for food and drink?

It is a part of the world that attracts incredible talent in the culinary world and combines that with great natural resources and producers. The whole attitude of producers and makers in the area makes it an exciting and passion-fuelled industry to be a part of.

What does it mean to you to be a part of the Old Stocks Inn’s Foodie Trails?

It’s really exciting to be part of something which is showcasing the best that our fantastic area has to offer.

Finally, what would you recommend foodie trailers try out when they visit you?

Start with trying our Negroni Inspired Gin with tonic (as this is an aperitif style gin it’s best tasted first!) and our Original gin, before seeing whether any of the seasonal editions catch your eye.
