Suppliers
As reopening gets ever closer, we’re continuing our search to find the very best suppliers, to give all of our guests a memorable experience at The Old Stocks Inn.
S H Jones is based in Banbury and is one of the suppliers we have already built a great relationship with over the last year. They’re just the sort of company we like to work with, being a small business like ourselves, but also because they concentrate on a small number of high quality wines. So, we had high hopes for our wine tasting session at S H Jones and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
We really appreciate their personal, one-to-one service and we’ve worked closely with Tony Freeman, from their Wholesale Sales Team, to create a new and exciting wine list for The Old Stocks. S H Jones has a fantastic range of New and Old World wines, made from a large variety of types of grape. We’ve sought out the very best of them for every palate and occasion, from a meal in our restaurant to a quick after-work glass or a relaxing drink in the bar with friends.
With all of our drink suppliers, we’re keen to make our drinks lists complement the dishes on our menu. We don’t want to give too much away just yet, because we hope you will come and sample a glass or two once we’re open. But to whet your appetite until then, we’ve been considering a nice Albarino from Spain, Marlborough Sauvignon, a new Merlot and a Malbec …
